oh DREAM catcher …

… “I believe you can get me through the night”

That was cheesy, I know. But, I had to do it. I mean, it totally applies here. Ok, so enough about that … aren’t my dream catchers pretty? When I create these little wispy beauties, I feel extremely relaxed and centered and happy. I’ve made quite a few things in my life, and there’s something different and magical about making these. Can’t really describe it in words. I just like it. A lot.

I made these as the gifts for my Finding Your Truth workshop, so they went to some rather lovely grateful ladies. And, there was one left over for me too … the red one in the top left corner that I wove on a mountaintop in Sedona while waiting for the sun to set. So there’s vortex energy in there too ;)

May just bust out another one in Mexico … headed there in 1.5 weeks! What better place to create than on the beach in Cabo?!

chasing FOG …

I chased the fog today, literally. I was driving home and then turned the opposite way when I exited the parkway (I know, crazy, right?!). Toward less homes and more forest. Less cars and more trees. Less congestion and more clarity. Less in my head and more in my heart … at least for a short while …

There was some snowfall yesterday and all of the turnoffs on the roads were covered in 4″ of snow. Something a Ford Focus is not cut out for. So I kept driving until I found a road to turn on, parked and ran across the street to admire and photograph the foggy forest. This was one of the first photos I took, and within a minute (for real) the fog started lifting. How quickly things can come in and out of our lives … So, I ran down the hill (felt more like a skip as I was in good spirits at the time) chasing the fog for more photo ops. Then I realized I should probably get back to my unlocked still-running car pretty much parked in the road. So, I excitedly ran back up the hill, floating through what was left of the fog.

Look at how the fog beautifully highlighted the depth of the forest! It was such a dreamy peaceful feeling for me (hence the skipping and floating). I am so grateful to have been up and out that early to catch this natural beauty :)

dayDREAM big …

This is the entry to a super cool coffee house in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I was there in October with my then boyfriend who was there for school. I got to gallivant around and see awesome sites and go to the beach while he studied marine-type things … pretty sure I got the better end of that stick for the week we were there ;)

Now, read the words, as that’s the reason I posted this pic. Go forth and live dangerously!!!

I too like to live dangerously …
